We love to make tasty treats to match our Holiday theme, and one of our favorites that is easy to adapt to all holidays is Rice Krispies treats. Here's our Halloween version. We have a dairy allergy over here, so instead of butter we used coconut oil, and trust us, it tastes way better! Try out the recipe below!
Ingredients
- Coconut Oil . A little less than 1/4 cup coconut oil (I found that the full 1/4 cup was too oily)
- Mini Marshmallows (16 oz bag)
- Rice Krispies (regular size box) 1/2 box
- Nonstick spray
- Sprinkles. I used these two Eyeball Sprinkle Mix and Rainbow Sprinkles
Directions:
1. Mix coconut oil and marshmallows together then microwave for 1 minute.
2. Mix Rice Krispies in then add in sprinkles and mix more.
3. Spray pan with nonstick spray. Pour mixture into pan, smooth out and add more sprinkles on top. Wait for them to cool off a bit then cut.
